Last Saturday, October 9, the Hungarian Culture and Language I Workshop was held. This workshop is one of the activities that the UPS DOC has planned for this semester. It aims to support doctoral students in integrating these with the environment accompanying them during the next few years.
The workshop is divided into four sessions, 3 virtual and 1 practical visit to Esztergom. On this occasion, Timea Thomázy (PhD student in multilingualism at the University of Pannonia) presented to the students some topics such as Roots of the oral and written Hungarian language, historical facts of Hungary, typical folk costumes, Hungarian inventors and Hungarian cuisine.
During this utterly informal activity, students could share their experiences and ask questions about Hungary, its language, history and customs.
