Laura Schmidt graduated from the University of York and gained a degree of BSc in Psychology in 2016 and a degree of MSc in Applied Forensic Psychology in 2018. Since September 2019 she has been a PhD student at the Doctoral School of Law Enforcement, University of Public Service. She is currently an associate researcher at the József Eötvös Research Center - European Strategy Research Institute (EUSTRAT), having joined in February, 2021.
Her research focuses mainly on restorative justice and victim support.
She is the communication representative at the Doctorates’ Council NUPS and at the Doctorates’ National Community Law Enforcement Department.
