dr. Bálint Teleki

dr. Bálint Teleki graduated as a lawyer (dr. jur.) from the Faculty of Law of the Eötvös Loránd University in January 2016, after which he worked as a junior associate at international law firms for a while. Since September 2017 he has been working at the Department of European Public and Private Law of the National University of Public Service (NKE) as a PhD student of the Doctoral School of Public Administration Sciences (NKE KDI). His primary research interests are the public administration of the European Union, the agency-type organs of the European Union, and the developments of the financial supervision systems of the EU and Hungary after and due to the financial-economic crisis of 2008. Beside his doctoral studies, he also pursues master's level studies in regional and environmental economics at the Corvinus University of Budapest. Since March 2021 he works for the European Mirror journal as an editor. He is a member of the Editorial Board of the journal "Külügyi Műhely".  He possesses advanced level language skills in English and German.


Since 2018, he has been a member of the board of the NKE Doctorates' Council (NKE DÖK) as the member responsible for legal affairs, and since September 2019 also as an elected representative. He has also been the vice-president for scientific affairs for the Department of Administrative Sciences of the Association of Hungarian PhD and DLA Students (DOSZ KiTO) since September 2018.
